“E and”, a leading global group in technology and investment, celebrated the graduation of 80 UAE citizens in the third and fourth batches of the Artificial Intelligence Graduates program. The program aims to invest in national talents in the field of future digital leaders for the UAE.
The program was launched as a pioneering initiative in 2021 to empower participants in developing their skills in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to keep pace with future technological advancements. The graduation ceremony was attended by Hatem Duwaidar, CEO of “E and”, Masoud M. Sharif Mahmoud, CEO of “Communications from E and”, and other leaders in the group.
Duwaidar emphasized the importance of the program in supporting the localization agenda and honing the talents of citizens in modern technology, in addition to achieving the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031. He also expressed his optimism about the graduates’ readiness for the future.
Al Mansouri praised the program and its role in empowering national competencies and achieving localization aspirations. He appreciated the participation of Emirati women in the program, supporting the technology sector and enhancing diversity in the work environment.
Candidates for the program are selected through assessments and case studies, and graduates have the opportunity to work on real projects in the field of artificial intelligence. The program consists of two educational stages, lasts for nine months, and covers various areas such as machine learning, Internet of Things, big data, and cybersecurity.
Graduates are provided with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, such as communication, decision-making, emotional intelligence, and skills development in leadership positions. Since its launch in 2021, the Artificial Intelligence Program has received five batches, with a total of over 200 qualified and trained graduates, with females accounting for 73% of the total graduates.
The “E and” Artificial Intelligence program, in collaboration with leading global training platforms in the sector such as Udacity, Alliance, Harvard Business Review, MIT, LinkedIn, and Udemy. Each graduate receives a personal development plan in addition to regular guidance and training.
