DJI has announced the launch of the wireless microphone Mic 2, promising that Mic 2 will set a new standard in the field of sound recording solutions.
The Mic 2 is specially designed for content creators in various scenarios, including blog filming, conducting interviews, and recording outdoor adventures. It excels in capturing comprehensive directions and enhancing sound clarity.
The modern technology in the compact-size microphone boasts the capability to reduce noise using artificial intelligence. DJI emphasizes that this technology brings a radical change for users in urban and crowded areas, contributing to reducing environmental noise and enabling clear audio recording. This technology also includes a wind-resistant front glass to improve sound quality.
Mic 2 features Safety Track to record a secondary low-level audio track in case of an unexpected increase in sound levels.
The Mic 2 microphone is easy to connect with DJI Osmo Action 4 camera, DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera, and smartphones via Bluetooth. It can also be connected to various devices through USB-C, Lightning adapters, and TRS analog jacks.
The Mic 2 comes with a stylish design and user-friendly experience. It includes a distinctive metal charging case with a lock, and the DJI logo lights up when the charging case is opened to automatically pair the devices.
Users can control the Mic 2 device through the receiver which features a 1.1-inch OLED screen and a small rotary dial, allowing them to adjust volume levels, brightness, and other settings.
The transmitters or microphones come with a quick-disappearing magnetic attachment and a clip design, available in black and white colors.
Mic 2 provides dual-channel recording, allowing creators to capture sound from two sources simultaneously. Each transmitter has 8GB of internal storage, meaning it can record audio for up to 14 hours.
DJI offers a range of up to 250 meters for transferring audio in open spaces while maintaining direct visibility.
The charging case provides approximately 18 hours of available usage time, while the transmitters can last for about 6 hours in use.
The Mic 2 includes a transmitter, receiver, charging case, audio cable, mobile phone adapter, Lightning adapter, windscreen, magnetic clips, USB-C charging cable, and a carrying bag, all priced at $350.
