OpenAI has announced a new update to the artificial intelligence robot ChatGPT, adding the ability to pronounce responses audibly.
The company introduced a new feature called “Audio Narration,” enabling users to benefit from this service through the ChatGPT app on iOS and Android operating systems. This can be done by continuously pressing the displayed response on the screen and then selecting the “Audio Narration” option, as announced by the company on its “X” platform page.
OpenAI has announced the availability of a new feature on the web version, allowing users to utilize it by clicking on the microphone icon located at the bottom of the responses.
It is worth mentioning the ability to adjust the audio output through the program’s options, where the company provides a range of different voices to experiment with for reading responses.
The new feature supports multiple languages, including Arabic, but may encounter errors in pronunciation or correct spelling while showing excellent performance when using other languages like English.
ChatGPT robot offers the voice dictation feature, allowing users to submit their inquiries using their voices. The program converts speech into text to understand requests, then displays the answers. The new function uses a different technology that enables the pronunciation of responses audibly instead of being limited to text.
Users can also communicate with the ChatGPT robot through the voice chat feature, eliminating the need to resort to typing methods or looking at the screen to know the answers.
