The police department in Abu Dhabi showcased its pavilion at the “ISNAR Abu Dhabi 2024” exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), presenting its modern security system to enhance security, stability, and reassure the residents of Abu Dhabi by utilizing cutting-edge global technologies.
Lieutenant Abdullah Nasser Al-Hadhrami from the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters stated that the aim of participating in the exhibition is to exchange ideas regarding security, cyber security, law enforcement, and protection in all areas.
He mentioned that the Abu Dhabi Police Department is participating with 8 platforms to introduce the public to its role and tasks in enhancing safety, security, and protection in Abu Dhabi, as well as organizing several workshops in the fields of security, management, and proactive measures.
He explained that one of the key platforms of the Abu Dhabi Police at the exhibition is the Safe City Management platform, which serves as an early sensing center by connecting to the national early warning system and sending alerts to the public using sensing, broadcasting, and transmission systems to send electronic warning messages about adverse weather conditions and dangerous incidents.
He also highlighted the presence of the Smart Police Education Environment platform at the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, a modern initiative that uses artificial intelligence technologies in classrooms to provide a smart learning environment through modern tools and resources.
Among the platforms that participated in the exhibition are the “UAE Electronic Evidence Platform,” the “Electronic Security Event Management Platform,” the “Drug Control Platform” that provides a service to encourage drug addicts to seek treatment, the “Traffic and Security Patrols Platform,” and the “Identification of Disaster Victims Platform.”
The Abu Dhabi Police conducted five specialized workshops as part of the activities of “ISNAR Abu Dhabi 2024” on the first day of the program.
