After a few days of dismissal, OpenAI company rehires Sam Altman in his position.

According to the official statement issued by OpenAI on the Ex platform, Sam Altman returned to reclaim his position as CEO of the company after several days of being fired, due to the significant pressure he faced from employees and investors.

The company announced that Brett Taylor, former co-CEO of Salesforce, and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers will join the board of OpenAI, while Adam D’Angelo, co-founder and CEO of Quora, will remain on the board.

Hundreds of employees, including co-founder and board member Ilia Sutskever, signed a letter stating that if the board does not resign and reinstate Altman, the vast majority will move to work with him at Microsoft.
