Iranian experts have announced the development of advanced Skincare products utilizing artificial intelligence and nanotechnology. According to the Ana News Agency for Science and Technology, Beta Mahroei, the CEO of a knowledge-based company, stated that these innovative products feature light-activated agents that possess antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties—attributes that have become essential in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Advanced Features and Multiple Benefits
Mahroei highlighted that one such product boasts a duration of effectiveness lasting up to 10,000 hours under visible light, along with sun protection and self-cleaning properties for the skin. He noted that this product has received nanotechnology certification and is in the final stages of obtaining approval from the Food and Drug Administration.
A New Era in Healthcare
In 2024, following three years of dedicated effort, a line of healthcare products was launched at the Growth Center of Iran University of Medical Sciences. To date, the company has successfully secured licenses from health and food safety organizations for 23 products. This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to high-quality standards and its aim to meet consumer needs with innovative offerings.
Personalized Health Products Using AI
Among the new innovations, skincare, hair care, and fragrance products will be customized based on individual health issues, allergies, and genetic analyses. This method involves skin scanning and transmitting data such as oil levels, wrinkles, moisture, and skin spots to a server for analysis by an AI-based program to Skincare.
AI Enhancing Personal Care
Mahroei explained that data collected from customer questionnaires is also analyzed using artificial intelligence. A comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis is then provided to a qualified physician, who formulates a tailored care package that includes treatments for the skin, hair, nails, hands, feet, face, personal fragrances, and aromatherapy.
Conclusion
These innovative advancements in AI-supported cosmetics and healthcare demonstrate the potential to merge modern technology with everyday consumer needs. As research and development in this field continue, the future appears poised for further innovations that could fundamentally transform the landscape of health and beauty.
