/WAM/ Aldenik Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, held a briefing today for diplomatic missions in the country to review the latest preparations for launching the largest exhibitions of their kind (UMEX) and (SIMTEX), organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
Aldenik Group organizes these exhibitions in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and Edge Group as a strategic partner. A significant number of specialized international companies, decision-makers, and experts are expected to participate in these events.
Brigadier Mubarak Saeed Bin Ghafan Al Jaberi, Chairman of the organizing committee for the exhibitions, stated: “The unmanned systems industry plays a crucial role in maintaining international peace and security and contributes to sustainable economic growth through advanced technological innovations offered by this industry. Its role is no longer limited only to defense but extends to commercial and civil uses as well.”
He pointed out that UMEX and SIMTEX exhibitions, along with their accompanying conference, provide a platform to showcase the latest innovations and technologies in unmanned systems, simulation, training, robotics, and artificial intelligence applications, bringing together global industry leaders and decision-makers under one roof to discuss the evolution and sustainability of these vital sectors.
Al Jaberi expressed the organizing committee’s desire to welcome a large number of official missions, delegations, leaders, and experts in the diverse and unique exhibition activities witnessing unprecedented growth and development in vital sectors thanks to the widespread adoption of smart artificial technologies worldwide in recent years.
In addition to providing a suitable environment for startups to interact with local and international partners, build strategic partnerships, and explore direct and indirect investment opportunities in the innovations and technologies of these startups in those vital sectors.
The Chairman of the organizing committee confirmed that the exhibitions will be accompanied by the UMEX and SIMTEX conference on January 22, focusing on the spread of unmanned systems, the benefits of innovative technology branches, and unprecedented effects, expecting the attendance of over 200 prominent leaders, decision-makers, and experts to discuss the most important local and global challenges and issues, as well as showcase the latest technologies and innovations in these sectors and ways to deploy them for civilian and military use.
Al Jaberi emphasized that cooperation with Aldenik Group in these unique events in the Middle East dedicated to unmanned systems, simulation, training, artificial intelligence, and robotics is important and unparalleled in the specialized exhibition industry.

Hamid Matar Al Zaheri, Managing Director and CEO of Aldenik Group, stated that the current edition of UMEX and SIMTEX exhibitions is unique in all aspects.
The exhibition includes the launch of five new initiatives for the first time, including the commercial UMEX platform with participation from over 30 international and local companies specializing in civilian and commercial uses of unmanned systems. Additionally, live demonstrations of unmanned systems will be organized for the first time, both on land and at sea.
At Adnik Center.He indicated that the current session events will witness the start of a programming challenge competition in its first edition as part of the exhibitors’ events. This competition targets national experts in programming in cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and Adnik Group. A new platform will also be launched for startups from around the world, and these companies will be invited to showcase their latest innovations and technologies to compete for the “Your Next Gen Innovation” award.
In addition, a daily program of dialogue sessions for the business sector will be launched with the participation of speakers from leading companies in this field.
