His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, confirmed that Dubai, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is working on developing a futuristic model for government work supported by applications and solutions of artificial intelligence, with the aim of achieving a vision that seeks to place Dubai at the forefront globally in government work. He added: “Today, 22 executives have been appointed for artificial intelligence in the Dubai government, within a future vision aimed at enhancing the utilization of technology in developing government work, supporting the governmental experience in this regard, and taking it to new levels to enhance global leadership in innovating advanced technological solutions and future tools.”
His Highness indicated that accelerating the adoption of smart technology and the development of innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence and its technologies is a key focus of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to transform the Emirate of Dubai into a global center for developing and adopting artificial intelligence solutions and applications.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated that appointing chief executives for artificial intelligence in the Dubai government is a first step towards achieving our vision for the future of government work, embodied in Dubai’s annual plan to enhance the adoption and application of technology.
