Apple plans to add numerous features of artificial intelligence to the operating systems iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 on smart devices like the iPhone and iPad, as reported by the American news agency Bloomberg.
According to the report, Apple is training the personal assistant Siri and the integrated search tool Spotlight on a wide range of linguistic models to enhance their ability to accurately respond to difficult questions. The new version of Spotlight can also provide deep integration with specific functions in applications.
The report also mentions that Apple is exploring AI-dependent features in its various applications within its system, allowing users to create automatic playlists in the Apple Music app or create presentations in the Keynote app. Moreover, there will be deep integration of artificial intelligence in other applications like Health, Messages, Numbers, Pages, Shortcuts, and more.
Apple is currently working on other artificial intelligence projects focusing on image creation and modification using smart technologies. They are also developing advanced neural engines in their upcoming processors to enhance and accelerate artificial intelligence capabilities.
The company’s CEO, Tim Cook, has previously announced the current work on developing generative artificial intelligence features, confirming that more details will be revealed later this year.
