The organization “Sdaya” participated in the IEEE ICASSP 2024 conference in Korea, with international presence of AI experts and major global technology companies, and concluded its activities today.
At the “Sdaya” conference, Dr. Sadeen Al-Harbi, an expert in AI research, presented a paper discussing the importance of having specialized Arabic data in linguistic technologies, such as the Echo data that enables developers to enhance linguistic techniques using local Saudi dialects.
This data is the result of the Sound System project, which can convert speech into Arabic texts and local dialects, and can be used in developing conversational bots and interactive voice systems.
The international conference on acoustics, speech, and signal processing is one of the major global conferences in the field of acoustic technologies, where all experts and enthusiasts in this field gather to review the latest developments and innovations in this field.
Participating (Sdaya) in the conference as part of its efforts to enhance the field of data and artificial intelligence, stimulate their growth, and utilize them for the benefit of humanity.
