Trend Micro announced its partnership with NVIDIA to develop new cybersecurity tools that rely on smart technology and are specifically designed to secure artificial intelligence data centers.
The cybersecurity company plans to showcase its new tools at the Computex conference in Taiwan to its business and government clients interested in security and relying on the power of artificial intelligence.
According to the company, these tools are designed to operate across NVIDIA platforms and secure the detection of intruders, ensuring that data is only accessible by authorized individuals.
The comprehensive cloud solution, Trend Vision One, aligns with NVIDIA NIM, which offers effective and user-friendly services providing precise analysis and insights.
NVIDIA NIM is part of NVIDIA’s enterprise AI platform aimed at accelerating the deployment of artificial intelligence through cloud computing, data centers, and workstations.
Many companies train artificial intelligence systems to assist their employees in various tasks, such as responding to HR inquiries or helping customer service agents.
For this reason, companies often consolidate data from all their departments into one place, making the system a potential target for hacking.
In addition to detecting intruders, Trend Micro also focuses on ensuring that the data entered into artificial intelligence systems is not vulnerable to infiltration by hackers.
Users interact with most modern chatbots by asking questions, which often contain sensitive information such as undisclosed company secrets or customer-specific data.
Eva Chen, CEO of Trend Micro, said: “Many in the industry claim to make progress in AI security, and we provide important use cases for companies.”
She pointed out that the integration of NVIDIA NIM with Trend Vision One provides the necessary strength to transform the entire infrastructure, as companies worldwide rely on generative artificial intelligence.
Pat Lee, Vice President of Enterprise Strategic Partnerships at NVIDIA, said that leading companies recognize the importance of deploying generative smart technologies in diverse environments, including sovereign clouds, and are developing strategies to integrate security into AI applications.
He noted that the integration of NVIDIA NIM with Trend Vision One highlights how companies can benefit from generative artificial intelligence to enhance the security of their customer environments through a wide range of corporate infrastructures.
