The initiative utilizes modern technologies and electronic solutions to make the Hajj journey easier, by using technology and improving algorithms and modern techniques that provide unprecedented comfort for pilgrims.
The effort and hardship have been eliminated thanks to these easy services, which give pilgrims ease and comfort by enabling them to complete their entry procedures into Saudi Arabia through the designated lounges for the initiative in their home countries.
The Mecca Route Initiative has introduced modern digital technologies to enhance pilgrim services, starting from issuing electronic Hajj visas and ending with directing them to the designated location to deliver their luggage effortlessly.

On the other hand, Sheikh Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi, the Assistant to the Pakistani Prime Minister, and the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, praised the Saudi “Mecca Route” initiative and how it facilitates pilgrims’ procedures and makes the Hajj journey easy and smooth, through issuing electronic Hajj visas, conducting biological tests, and smoothly and quickly completing passport procedures at the airport.
Sheikh Ashrafi thanked the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for this wonderful initiative that serves the guests of the Most Merciful in the best technological ways.
