This is achieved through its innovations and excellence in applying artificial intelligence systems, digital technology, smart technology, and data programs.
These services aim in general to facilitate the provision of services to the community and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership in this regard, as well as enhancing security and safety through modern programs and technologies that elevate security indicators.
During his visit to the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence, as part of the annual inspection program of the general directorates and police centers.
The visit was attended by His Excellency Major General Ahmed Rafie, Assistant to the General Commander for Administration Affairs, Major General Khaled Nasser Al Ruzouqi, Director of the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence, and Colonel Dr. Saleh Al-Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Directorate for Excellence and Innovation, and Colonel Adnan Ali Mohammed, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence for Smart Operations, and Colonel Hussain bin Ghaliata, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence for Smart Applications, and Colonel Abdullah Al Muhairi, Acting Director of the Monitoring and Inspection Department, and a number of officers.
Major General Al Obaidli stressed the great importance of the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence in achieving the overall leadership of Dubai Police through its innovations and applications in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital technology, smart technology, and data programs.
These innovations aim to facilitate the provision of services to the community and achieve the aspirations of the distinguished leadership in this field, in addition to enhancing security and safety using modern programs and technologies.
The annual inspection activities at the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence began with Major General Al Obaidli inspecting the employees and reviewing their readiness, then listening to a detailed explanation of the strategic indicators of the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence, including the 100% digitization application and the job satisfaction index, which reached 98.1%.
During the meeting, Major General Al Obaidli listened to an explanation about 74 executive projects that the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence has been working on since 2022. The completion rate in these projects was mentioned, reaching 95%, exceeding the targeted rate of 90%.
He explored technological projects related to artificial intelligence technologies and blockchain technology, in addition to listening to a detailed explanation about the digital infrastructure in the Dubai Police General Command, which enhances the role of the leadership in continuing its administrative operations and smart systems by 99.98%.
After reviewing the information security index, examining the results of the awareness campaigns organized to promote electronic awareness and enhance technical support provided to employees, as well as evaluating the training and development mechanisms for employees in the technical field, in addition to assessing the level of cost optimization related to the use of the latest applications and innovations belonging to Dubai Police.
He listened to an explanation about the future plan in the field of artificial intelligence, smart technologies, big data, and the global awards achieved by the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence during the past year.
In the end, Major General Al Obaidli learned about some technological projects that use big data and smart analysis. He is currently working on developing these projects in the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence to enhance and support Dubai Police’s efforts and plans for the future and achieve leadership and excellence.
