The food company announced a limited edition release of Y3000 soda, describing it as a drink from the future, where artificial intelligence was involved in its development alongside human collaboration.
Coca Cola described the flavor of their new drink as a “two-step process”, where the first step was taken by researchers at the company who gathered flavor trends and essential preferences to preemptively understand what consumers might imagine regarding future flavors.
The second step was executed by artificial intelligence, integrating the initial concepts with its own.
Coca Cola has not revealed any flavor resembling the new flavor of its drink, but it will be available in both traditional and sugar-free versions.
The American, Canadian, Chinese, European, and African markets will include Y3000 drink within the sugar-free product category for a limited period.
Consumers in the United States and Canada will have access to the traditional tasting type of this drink.
