The General Presidency for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice provides the best services to pilgrims to facilitate their rituals, through a range of educational and distinguished services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, as well as visitors to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
Dr. Abdulrahman bin Muhanna Al-Juhani, Deputy of the General Presidency for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, explained that the services provided included the use of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, Wi-Fi technology, communication via CHAT BOT application, NFC technology, and interactive maps. Additionally, 3 million smart awareness cards were issued providing direct access to the Hajj, Umrah, and visitation pages, and introducing the Mabroor application through a QR code, along with the provision of 61 visual screens and 50 educational panels.
Al-Juhani stated that the General Presidency will participate in this year’s Hajj season by establishing (50) field awareness points, where (800) experienced and academically qualified employees will serve the pilgrims. The General Presidency will also activate several awareness initiatives with government entities at various airports, land ports, and pilgrim reception lounges in several regions, including airports, ports, and lounges in the Eastern Region, Northern Borders, Najran, and Al-Jawf, as well as train stations in Mecca, Jeddah, and Al-Madinah, and in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in the expansion area.
