Cyryl Efetimov holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the Technical University in Bulgaria from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, he pursued studies in economics at the University of Plovdiv in Bulgaria from 1993 to 1995.
Being a specialist in the fields of technology and business, he has extensive experience in both startups and Fortune 500 companies.
Cyryl Efetimov has succeeded in creating products based on cloud computing, products that serve in analysis and decision-making support, as well as in developing data platforms that can be effectively scaled. His efforts have contributed to various sectors including healthcare, financial services, and technology, enhancing the success and expansion of clients.
Cyryl serves as a technical advisor in the group “G42“. He is also a co-founder and board member in addition to his role as CEO of Fair Signals Inc. Prior to that, he held leadership positions in companies such as Teradata, Microstrategy, and eBay.
As CEO of Fair Signals, Cyryl Efetimov has varied responsibilities, including crafting strategies, overseeing financial affairs, developing services and products, team management, and handling all external communications for the company active in the financial technology sector.
During his tenure as Vice President at Teradata and as General Manager of the Core Unified Data Technologies division, Cyryl was responsible for setting strategic directions and leading application operations in the research and development circle in the analytics field. In this role, he had broad oversight over a portfolio of more than 30 technology programs ranging from core heavily-used products to cloud-based solutions.
As Vice President of Program Management at Microstrategy, Cyryl focused on developing concepts and conducting feasibility analysis, researching and planning advanced cloud analytics platforms for future use.
Prior to that, Cyryl spent over 13 years in Silicon Valley, California, holding various engineering leadership positions supporting reputable companies such as eBay, PayPal, StubHub, Skype, and classifieds. In his role managing the development of analytics platforms, Cyryl was tasked with implementing self-service analytics options throughout the company, as well as working on providing business intelligence tools and collaborative platforms. Additionally, he made strides in the field of combating electronic fraud, leading initiatives to establish customer support foundations and data management ensuring trust and security.
Cyryl has provided consultations to a range of prestigious companies, including Intuitive Surgical and Extreme Networks, and participated in the Tableau Software Customer Protection Committee, contributing to their technology innovation projects and developing data trading and digital transformation strategies, as well as enhancing sales and distribution patterns.
