The software company “Brave Software” has announced that the Brave web browser now supports artificial intelligence technology in the new version 1.6, known as Leo, available for computers.
The American company pointed out that the AI assistant based on the linguistic model Llama 2 from Meta offers users various services such as summarizing websites, videos, translating, analyzing websites, and answering questions.
Data Privacy
Brave Software stated that the new Brave browser, equipped with artificial intelligence, prioritizes data privacy by not storing IP addresses or any personal information that could reveal the user’s identity.
Questions and conversations with the AI assistant will not be stored on the browser’s servers.
Paid Version
Brave Software plans to release a paid version of the new Brave browser, known as Leo Premium, supported by artificial intelligence technology and based on the linguistic model Claude Instant from Anthropic.
This version stands out for the AI assistant’s ability to provide quicker answers to questions posed to it.
