Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the “International Artificial Intelligence Challenge” will kick off on May 20 and 21 at the “Museum of the Future” in Dubai, with prizes worth up to one million dirhams. Sheikh Hamdan is the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation.
The Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence, managed by the Dubai Future Foundation, has announced the opening of registration for participation in the global challenge through the website: (www.challenge.dub.ai/ar).
These global challenges will revolve around creativity and designing programming codes for generative artificial intelligence applications in three main categories: programming, art, and literature.
The skill of designing code commands has become one of the essential skills in the field of artificial intelligence and its various applications, such as the “ChatGP” and “MedJourney” applications, among others.
30 participants will be selected to participate in the final stage of the challenge in Dubai through voting by other participants. They will be divided into 10 participants in each main category, and will be evaluated by a judging panel comprising academics, creators, and experts in technology and artificial intelligence, based on speed, quality, and accuracy as primary criteria.
H.E. Khalfan Juma Belhoul, Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that the “International Artificial Intelligence Challenge” will attract global participants with important experiences and promising talents in the field of generative artificial intelligence engineering. He pointed out that this global event hosted by Dubai will be an important opportunity to showcase the best future skills in the field of artificial intelligence.
He added that Dubai hosting this event aligns with the vision and thinking of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, on the necessity of keeping pace with all that is new in the world of technology and being constantly prepared for opportunities to adopt and develop innovative solutions in the future.
The purpose of the “International Artificial Intelligence Challenge” is to build a global community that exchanges knowledge and experiences in the field of artificial intelligence engineering, provide an opportunity for local and global talents to innovate, enhance global cooperation and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence engineering, and open new horizons for generative artificial intelligence capabilities.
