Orders app, a leading company in the delivery service industry in the region, has announced the launch of a new feature called “talabat AI”, an assistant based on artificial intelligence technology and supported by “ChatGB IT”.
This new feature is considered a precedent in the sector, especially for the Middle East and North Africa region.
The beta version of the feature starts exclusively this week for “talabat Pro” subscribers residing in the UAE, and the feature will continue to receive updates and improvements in the following days.
The new tool utilizes generative artificial intelligence technologies to enable “talabat Mart” customers to search for recipes and know the available ingredients in the store at the same time, providing them with a significantly convenient shopping experience.
The introduction of this feature is part of Orders’ commitment to enhancing user experience by relying on the latest available innovations. This feature was developed as a result of the hackathon recently organized at Orders’ main technology headquarters in the UAE, with the participation of over 450 tech engineers.

“talabat AI” was developed using “ChatGB IT” from “Open AI” company to explore new technology-based ways to enhance user experience. Easy Ways to Utilize the “talabat AI” Application
1. Open the “talabat Mart” menu in the English version of the “talabat” application.
2. Click on the search bar in “talabat Mart”.
3. Press the blue icon located at the bottom right of the screen.
4. Inquire about the recipe in the chat box.
The “talabat AI” feature is available to “talabat Pro” subscribers using the English version of the application. Additionally, users in the Arabic version can access this feature by changing the language to English in the app settings.
How does ‘talabat AI’ work?
When customers want to order their meals, they place their orders through chat, where the grocery shopping assistant provides them with all the necessary cooking steps to prepare the desired recipe. The assistant can also provide them with information about the ingredients available at the nearby “talabat Mart” store. This assistant also helps users inquire about cooking tips, suitable side dishes, and nutritional information.
Here are some things that can be requested from ‘talabat AI’:

Orders plan to launch the new feature for “talabat Pro” subscribers later in Kuwait and other markets after the trial version release in the UAE, with the innovative solution expected to be available to all users in the region during the current year.
“talabat AI” application’s trial version can be accessed by “talabat Pro” service subscribers by downloading the “talabat” application available on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei AppGallery.
Non-“talabat” app users can try the new feature by registering for the 14-day trial of “talabat Pro”, and they can cancel it at any time for free.
