The Samsung Galaxy S23, +S23, S23 Ultra, and S23 FE phones, along with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 phones that can be folded, will be launched on March 28 with the One UI 6.1 update that includes new artificial intelligence features – Galaxy AI.
If you are using one of the flagship Galaxy devices for 2023 and want to experience the artificial intelligence features that Galaxy S24 owners enjoy, the company is offering Galaxy AI features to all users across the Galaxy ecosystem.
For tablets, Samsung is sending an update to the wireless network versions of the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, while versions that support 5G networks will receive the update in April.
Samsung has declined to update the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
The launch of Galaxy AI represents a new beginning for Galaxy smartphones, offering enhanced experiences that leverage the power of artificial intelligence to help you overcome language barriers, share your creativity, and increase productivity.
These features are free to use until the end of 2025, and there is no clarity on the cost after that date.
All the mentioned services, including the chat assistant, are cloud-based services, so an internet connection is required.
Samsung seems to be working on integrating Galaxy AI into the Galaxy S22 series, but it’s unclear whether they plan to release it and the release date.
Samsung said: “With the release of the One UI 6.1 update, we continue to work towards our goal of making Galaxy AI features available to over 100 million Galaxy users worldwide by 2024.”
