Microsoft has announced the launch of the paid subscription for its AI-powered intelligent assistant, Copilot Pro, in over 222 countries worldwide, as stated in an announcement posted on the company’s website.
Microsoft offers a monthly subscription to Copilot Pro program for twenty US dollars, or the equivalent in local currencies of different countries.
Microsoft announced the introduction of the paid subscription service for its AI-powered assistant earlier this year, at the same price as the subscription for the ChatGPT Plus robot provided by OpenAI.
The Copilot Pro subscription provides priority access to the latest models developed by OpenAI, along with the ability to design custom models and use the program within the Office suite of applications. This is available to users already subscribed to Microsoft 365, enabling its use in Microsoft’s Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other web applications without the need for a separate subscription.
Copilot Pro subscriptions will soon be available for use on mobile apps running on both Android and iOS, according to Divya Kumar, General Manager of AI Research and Marketing at Microsoft.
Microsoft offers a one-month free subscription for all users when they join the Copilot Pro service through the dedicated Copilot app available on Android and iOS devices. This offer is available to all users to take advantage of.
Microsoft plans to implement several improvements to the Copilot assistant in the near future, including some enhancements related to integration with Windows 11. These updates are expected to be announced at Microsoft’s upcoming developers conference, scheduled for next May.
