Google has introduced several new enhancements in its image service based on artificial intelligence, allowing users to easily and automatically organize and arrange images.
One of the new features introduced by Google is the “Image grouping” feature, which automatically gathers similar images taken in close sequence into groups, selects the best image in each group, and highlights it.
The service will also rely on the use of smart technology to recognize screenshots and paper documents, organizing them into various categories for easier access.
The primary screenshots folder will be automatically divided into a group of sub-albums, such as albums for IDs, receipts, menus, and social media images. At the same time, photographed documents will be grouped into other albums such as travel documents, financial documents, personal documents, and more.
In a new addition, Google has provided a feature that detects reservations and tickets from images, identifies dates within them, and allows creating reminders for these images with a simple click of a button.
Google now offers a feature to automatically archive screenshots and documents after 30 days, where these images and documents will be hidden from the main gallery but remain accessible in their dedicated albums.
Google has begun introducing new features to all users through an update to the “Google Photos” app on the Android and iOS operating systems, according to the information mentioned in its official statement.
The company has also recently redesigned the “Memories” section in the photo service by adding new features and options.
