Google has begun offering artificial intelligence-based photo editing features on more Android devices, after these features were previously exclusively available on the Pixel 8 phones launched by the company last year.
Earlier, Google announced its intention to provide these features to a larger number of Android devices, as well as iPhones and iPads, without revealing specific details about the devices specifically included or the timeline for the company to provide these features.
Google also offers these features through the “Google One” subscription, where users can access them for free with certain restrictions. The company allows editing only 10 photos monthly using the “Magic Editor” for free, then users need to subscribe to the Google One Premium package to enjoy these features without limitations.
The “Magic Photo Editor” allows users to easily remove parts of the image, resize images, edit and enhance videos using artificial intelligence. It also includes other tools like the “Magic Eraser” to remove unwanted people or elements from photos, and “Noise Removal” to enhance unclear photos, along with options for color enhancement, cloud shapes, background blur, and lighting adjustments.
