Google has announced a new technology called Imagen 2 that utilizes artificial intelligence to generate images, and this technology boasts greater accuracy and realism than its previous version.
The artificial intelligence technology “Imagen 2” relies on creating images from texts, and it is now available for companies using Google’s “Vertex AI” platform.
Google has succeeded in attracting many companies to benefit from the advanced image technology, including companies such as Shutterstock, Snapchat, and others.
Google has confirmed that the new “Imagen 2” technology now has the ability to produce high-quality images and allows adding texts within the images in multiple languages, as well as creating logos and providing other creative options.
The new technological innovation allows for creating descriptive captions for images and adds a distinctive watermark to distinguish virtual images from real ones.
Through this technology, Google aims to compete with the DALL-E 3 model developed by OpenAI, which can also convert text commands into images using artificial intelligence.
Recently, the company announced the Gemini system for generative artificial intelligence, claiming it to be the most advanced model available to users, also highlighting its superiority over the GPT-4 model offered by OpenAI.
Several months ago, Google launched a new image editing tool named “Imagen Editor”, allowing users to make specific edits to images using text commands entered by the user.
