An agreement has been signed between Dell and Imbue to construct a high-performance computing set to develop artificial intelligence technology.
Dell and Imbue have entered into a $150 million agreement to establish a new and robust set of high-performance computers to enhance core training models related to inference. Imbue, an independent artificial intelligence research company, operates the Voltage Park system which works in building machine learning solutions.
Imbue functions as an independent laboratory in the field of artificial intelligence, developing and training its core models to acquire advanced thinking capabilities, such as knowing when to seek more information, analyzing and critiquing results, breaking down a difficult goal into easier parts, and then implementing it.
Imbue trains artificial intelligence agents on models capable of accomplishing tasks in powerful, secure, and beneficial ways across various fields. Imbue aims to develop practical tools for software agents that enable users to benefit from them in a wide range of areas, such as assisting engineers in writing new code instructions and helping analysts understand and formulate complex policy proposals, among other challenges.
Imbue utilizes Dell’s PowerEdge XE9680 server set with advanced graphics processors from NVIDIA H100 for the purpose of training artificial intelligence models and developing agent models capable of correcting errors in code instructions and analyzing large documents.
In the long term, the company is working on designing artificial intelligence agents with enhanced capacity and efficiency, with more confidence without the need for continuous supervision by users, opening the door to a future where agents can plan vacations, for example, instead of users, not just generating general ideas for trips and vacations, enabling people to spend their free time according to their desires.
Dell systems are designed with the aim of achieving significant acceleration for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning, equipped to handle complex artificial intelligence calculations through large graphics processing units and high bandwidth. The smart cooling features in PowerEdge servers maintain excellent performance efficiently, reduce the overall carbon footprint, and thus harmful gases that affect the atmosphere and environment.
