Continuing its leadership in the field of artificial intelligence, Inception, a subsidiary of the G42 Group, has announced the addition of the generative AI models “Jais70B” and “K2-Diamond-Chat” to its Jais Chat application. This update is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to deliver advanced technological solutions that serve the Arabic-speaking community.
The “Jais70B” model, consisting of 70 billion parameters, is characterized by its high capability to generate accurate and context-appropriate responses. Meanwhile, the “K2-Diamond-Chat” model facilitates handling complex mathematical problems and simplifying algebraic equations. These additions increase the number of AI models within the application to three, thereby enhancing its ability to provide quick and accurate answers.
Voice-to-Text: New Support for Audio Content
The new update is not limited to models alone; it also introduces services for converting Arabic spoken language into written text, allowing users from various dialects to benefit from the application’s advanced technologies. This update underscores Inception’s commitment to delivering integrated user experiences that cater to both audio and written needs.
Building on its partnership with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence, Inception focuses on developing language models that are suitable for various disciplines, thereby enhancing AI capabilities across different fields.
Future Strategies and Aspirations for Innovation
According to Andrew Jackson, Interim CEO of Inception, the company is working to expand the reach of its AI models to as many users as possible, whether for personal or professional use. Eric Zhang, President of Mohamed bin Zayed University, emphasized that this partnership marks a significant milestone in the mission to develop AI solutions beneficial to society.
These developments in the Jais Chat application represent an important step towards fostering the use of AI in the Arab world. As work continues on developing language models that meet user needs, Inception and Mohamed bin Zayed University remain committed to providing technological solutions that positively impact the community. This collaboration serves as a model for innovation and scientific research, opening new avenues for AI applications in the region.
