The Dubai World Trade Center will host the Jessic Global 2024 exhibition and conference from April 23 to 25, the largest forum for cyber security under the theme of “Cyber Resilience based on Artificial Intelligence,” with participation of over 750 leading global cybersecurity brands.
Artificial intelligence continues to emerge as a crucial topic in discussions at the Jessic Global 2024 exhibition and conference, with the presence of over 350 global speakers in cybersecurity and 1000 ethical hackers from around the world gathering in the UAE to address challenges and trends related to artificial intelligence, which shapes the future of technology.
Cybersecurity experts from around the world are reviewing the best solutions at the exhibition to address emerging challenges due to the evolution of artificial intelligence, optimistic about the opportunities these new technologies will offer for the future industry.
Charles Brooks, President of Brooks International Consulting and Assistant Professor at Georgetown University in Washington, emphasized the significant impact of artificial intelligence technologies on cybersecurity.
Brooks, who will be a speaker at the Jessic platform, stated that artificial intelligence can quickly detect cyber threats and identify them. He mentioned that AI-based programs and platforms scan files and data to detect unauthorized communications, intrusion attempts, unauthorized data usage, brute force access attempts, abnormal data movements, and data leaks. This enables companies to draw insights from statistics and protect themselves from anomalous behaviors before they are detected and corrected.
Brooks warned of the challenges companies face with the wide availability of AI-based tools and their significant impact on accessibility, pointing out that cybercriminals may exploit malicious AI to hide malware in commonly downloaded programs and access user data.
Vectra AI platform offers leading services in detecting, investigating, and responding to attacks using artificial intelligence technology.
Christian Bürst, CEO of Technology for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Vectra AI, highlights the positive effects of industrial artificial intelligence on cybersecurity operations.
Bürst stated that AI technology has proliferated widely and become easy to use, meaning that intruders do not need a high level of training or expertise to cause chaos in systems. He pointed out that quantum computing has increased uncertainty in international cybersecurity due to its rapid progress and decryption capabilities.
