The Institute for Talent Development in Media (KUNA) announced today the qualifying program titled “Employing Artificial Intelligence in Social Media Content Industry.” The program saw participation from several individuals working at the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) as well as their Qatari counterpart (QNA) and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), in addition to representatives from Kuwaiti institutions in both the public and private sectors.
The program, running until the eighteenth of April, is delivered by Ahmed El Sheikh, a member of the new Media Council at the British Journalists’ Union. It explores the role of AI-based algorithms in managing social media sites and formulating digital platform plans within an AI environment. It also reviews the essential tools necessary for employing artificial intelligence.
The program covers a diverse range of topics and issues, including content development and production, as well as generating and editing images and videos using AI techniques, in addition to integrating AI elements with various other applications.
The program includes practical usage in developing social media plans and creating content for these platforms by relying on artificial intelligence, and how to reach the audience in the current era dominated by AI.
The (KUNA) Center for Media Skills Development, established in December 1995, is one of the most experienced and pioneering centers in media training, having offered hundreds of training programs over the years in various media specializations.
The center aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of individuals in the media field and elevate the level of professional media performance.
