The experimental broadcast for the first AI television in the Arab world was launched today on the channel’s website and on YouTube in a unique experiment.
In this modern television, viewers will find that all individuals appearing on the screen, including presenters and programs, have been created and designed using artificial intelligence technologies, including voice, language, decor, and effects.
In this television, named “AI TV Arab,” there are no traditional studios, cameras, human presenters, or usual TV station equipment, as all of these have been replaced with specialized AI programs.
Mohammed Sanajla, the project’s founder stated: “We are living in a new era, the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which poses significant challenges in all areas and at all levels, including the media sector. This revolution is characterized by the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data in various industries, and it is expected that this integration will lead to significant changes in our lives and the way we work, with the media sector being no exception.”
Regarding the new television broadcasting method focusing on digital media and social media, Sanajla said: “The distribution, consumption, and production of content have been influenced by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With the growing popularity of streaming services and the increasing number of users on mobile devices, traditional content generation models are fading away. These shifts have led to the emergence of new business models such as live streaming and content subscriptions. Therefore, the focus is on digital media broadcasting that brings us closer to the audience.”
The project’s founder emphasized that “AI TV Arab is not a substitute for traditional TV channels, nor can it be, but it is a complement to them and a new experience contributing to the development of the media industry in the Arab world.”
Sanajla added: “This experiment is still in its early stages, and we fully acknowledge that it contains weaknesses and challenges, but we are working hard to overcome them with your help, believing that the future will be better, God willing. We need your support and encouragement to continue on this path, which we know will not be easy or filled with roses, but will require great effort, perseverance, and patience.”
Talking about the challenges facing this new project, Sanajla pointed out that one of the most important challenges is securing the necessary funding. We are currently seeking Arab investors with a strategic vision for the future, willing to take a small financial risk to develop the project and take it to unprecedented levels in the Arab media world.
