Meta Platforms has introduced two new features that rely on artificial intelligence technology for video editing and can be used for uploading on Instagram and Facebook.
The first feature called “Emu Video” creates video clips of four seconds, while the second feature known as “Emu Edit” allows users to easily edit or modify video clips using textual prompts.
These modern tools represent an advancement from the initial model “Emu” which generates images in response to textual inputs from users.
“Emu” supports AI technology for image generation and a number of image editing tools enhanced with artificial intelligence on Instagram. It enables individuals to capture a photo and alter its visual style or background.
In this context, the social media company “Meta” is making rapid strides in the field of artificial intelligence and it has become one of its key priorities. The company aims to compete with other tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
Companies and organizations turned towards the growing generative AI market last year to leverage the latest capabilities and enhance their business operations following the release of “GPT-3” by OpenAI at the end of last year.
