Copilot will soon receive support for the GPT-4 Turbo model, in addition to updating the DALL-E 3 model, introducing a new code translation feature, and incorporating deep search functionality in Bing.
In the near future, Copilot will be able to respond faster by utilizing the advanced GPT-4 Turbo model from OpenAI. This means it will be able to process more data through a context window that extends up to 128 kilobytes.
This extensive context window opens up opportunities for Copilot to comprehend queries in a sophisticated manner and deliver exceptional responses.
Yusuf Mehdi, Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Officer at Microsoft, indicates that they are currently testing this model with a limited number of users and plan to integrate it widely into Copilot in the coming weeks.
Microsoft is currently using the enhanced DALL-E 3 model to create images for Bing and Copilot, while waiting for the appearance of the GPT-4 Turbo model in Copilot.
Mehdi states: “Currently, you can use Copilot to create high-quality and precise images through the updated DALL-E 3 model.”
The Edge browser, which includes a sidebar for Copilot, has the capability to generate text within the input box on websites for sentence restructuring.
Now, you can use Copilot in the Edge browser to summarize the videos you watch on YouTube as well.
Programmers and developers are looking forward to the upcoming release of the new code translation feature in Copilot.
This new feature allows Copilot users to access intricate accounts, analyze data, and even receive code instructions from an AI chatbot intelligently.
Microsoft stated: “Copilot is designed to interpret your complex natural language code requests, execute these instructions in an isolated environment, and utilize the results to provide you with high-quality responses.”
Furthermore, it is possible to upload and download files to and from Copilot, enabling you to work with your data and code instructions, along with Bing search results.
Microsoft is adding the deep search feature to Bing search results. Mehdi says: “We leverage the power of the GPT-4 model to enhance search results for complex topics, and activating deep search leads to an increase in search queries to provide users with relevant and comprehensive results.”
