In its latest announcement, Microsoft revealed new enhancements for its Clipchamp video editing app, where artificial intelligence technologies are applied in some of these enhancements.
One of the important new features added is the Auto Compose feature, allowing users to upload images and videos and then choose the desired video style. Thanks to artificial intelligence, a professional video is automatically created without the need to spend a long time editing the video.
Microsoft has added a new tab in the Clipchamp program for the content library, aiming to help users find content that can be added to videos such as images, sounds, and videos. This tab includes current and recent user content, categorized and accessible faster using the search feature.
Personal account holders in Clipchamp can use it to add voice comments to their videos for up to 30 minutes, as well as add accompanying text comments, with the ability to edit the audio comment separately from the video clip.
Microsoft also mentioned that it has opened the door to using the text-to-speech feature using artificial intelligence technology, allowing control over language, emotions, and voice tone.
It is important to mention that users can try some of these new features currently, while Microsoft will make more features available to them later.
Microsoft acquired the web-based video editing tool Clipchamp in 2021, and the tool has been included as part of Microsoft 365’s personal, family, and business subscription plans.
