At Computex, the chip manufacturer announced the imminent launch of RTX AI PC laptops from Asus and MSI, which feature Copilot Plus capabilities.
The newly announced RTX AI PC laptops from Asus and MSI are said to be equipped with GeForce RTX 4070 graphics processing units and power-efficient central processing units along with Copilot Plus capabilities.
Nvidia confirmed that these laptops feature modern AMD central processing units under the Strix brand.
Nvidia mentioned that the initial copies of Copilot Plus on AMD-powered laptops may not initially benefit from the Microsoft AI features at launch.
The company stated that Copilot Plus laptops will receive a free update to provide Copilot Plus experiences when available.
This information suggests that Microsoft may not be ready to roll out updates and other smart Windows features using artificial intelligence via AMD processors, or there might be a waiting period before introducing Windows devices on ARM systems set to launch on June 18.
