The Islamic Cooperation Organization of News Agencies (Yuna) is arranging a virtual training course titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Video Production” on April 22nd in collaboration with the news agency “Sputnik”.
The course, aimed at journalists from member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, will explore the influence of artificial intelligence on video production. It will also delve into the strengths and weaknesses of utilizing AI in visual content production. Additionally, it seeks to discuss the potential application of AI techniques in enhancing journalists’ productivity and performance, along with addressing the risks of deepfakes and their impact on media manipulation.
The training course will be conducted by Igor Arkhipov, the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Project at Sputnik Agency.
Mohammed bin Abdulrabah Alyami, the Director-General of the Union of News Agencies in Islamic Cooperation Organization countries, stated that the course is part of Yuna and Sputnik’s efforts to raise awareness about technological advancements in the media space and establish a general framework for utilizing artificial intelligence in media work.
Alyami has invited journalists from member countries to participate in the course, which will be accessible through the dedicated link.
