OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT robot, is planning to launch the new artificial intelligence model GPT-5 by mid-this year, according to a new report cited by “Business Insider” from sources within the company.
The report mentioned that the company is “heading in the right direction” to release the new generation of the generative artificial intelligence model GPT at some point in mid-year, likely during the summer, according to the alleged sources.
The report also stated that some corporate clients have received recent explanatory presentations about the latest artificial intelligence model and its improvements in ChatGPT robot.
One of the recently evaluating executives praised the excellent performance of GPT-5, especially in its relevant cases and how it handles his company’s data.
It is worth noting that OpenAI has not yet set a specific launch date for the new version of its artificial intelligence model.
As per “Business Insider” report, an informed person stated that the company is still in the process of training GPT-5. After this stage is completed, the company will start internal safety tests, where employees and a selected group of strangers are typically challenged in different ways to discover issues before its public release.
There is no specific timeline for the completion of safety tests; the company is expected to address any errors and issues discovered during the testing phase, which may result in any update being delayed from the set deadline.
