The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, Sadaia, participated in a working session titled “Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence – Productivity and Growth” in the city of Shenzhen, China.
This participation took place as part of a visit by the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, and the accompanying delegation from both the public and private sectors to the People’s Republic of China and the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong.
“Sadaia” presented representation in the workshop held during the visit of the CEO, Dr. Yasser Mohammed Al-Anezi, who discussed the initiatives and projects of industrial artificial intelligence in the Kingdom, especially in the fields of health, Arabic language, computer vision, energy, and the environment. He explained that “Sadaia” operates as a national reference for data and artificial intelligence in terms of their organization, development, and handling in the Kingdom.
“Sadaia” has undertaken several initiatives, including organizing a series of meetings on industrial artificial intelligence at Saudi universities to promote knowledge in this field and demonstrate its benefits to humanity.
The Industrial Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (Ghaia) was also launched in cooperation with the National Information Technology Development Program and New Native company, the first program of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa working on transforming innovative models into successful businesses based on artificial intelligence.
The program aims to assist entrepreneurs and founders of technology startups. Additionally, a report on industrial artificial intelligence and large linguistic models was released.
Industrial artificial intelligence is described as a part of the artificial intelligence field that uses machine learning techniques to create new data or content based on available information.
Sadaia’s participation comes through its interest in exchanging experiences with various countries around the world in the field of data and artificial intelligence, highlighting its efforts in using industrial artificial intelligence technologies.
Artificial intelligence experts emphasize that leadership in this field will be for those who possess the foundational rules and strategies for those innovative and rapidly evolving technologies in the world.
