The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “Sadaia” organized a training program to enhance the capabilities of 25 leaders in the Ministry of Education over a period of 5 days in the field of data and artificial intelligence. These efforts come within the framework of building national capacities in this advanced technical field under the supervision of experts in artificial intelligence.
The program covers important topics in data science and artificial intelligence, starting from defining artificial intelligence and its techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, to the impact of using artificial intelligence in various sectors and developing models using principles, policies, and practices. The program also identifies potential risks and works to minimize them during the development of artificial intelligence models.
The program aims to empower national leaders to develop and implement data and artificial intelligence strategies in their sectors, enhance their role in this, and keep pace with the rapid advancements in various fields related to artificial intelligence and data science, through intensive training sessions and interactive workshops following the best global practices.
The organization of the program falls within the interest of “Sadaia” in enhancing national capacities in governmental entities in the field of data and artificial intelligence technologies. Since its establishment in 2019, “Sadaia” has been striving to achieve ambitious goals in enhancing the capabilities of experts and specialists in these two fields, as the main national reference in organizing and enhancing these capabilities.
It is mentioned that the Ministry of Education and “Sadaia” signed a memorandum of understanding in 2022 to collaborate in training the ministry’s affiliates in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Special training programs were designed and delivered for the ministry, as well as the exchange of expertise in developing human resources and supporting capacities in the field of data and artificial intelligence.
