At the ISE 2024 exhibition in January of this year, Samsung introduced the WAD interactive display series, which is considered as a substitute for interactive whiteboards in schools.
Prior to the product launch, the company enhanced it with additional upgrades, where the brand introduced the WAD interactive display series with artificial intelligence features.
At the Infocomm exhibition held in Las Vegas in 2024, Samsung presented a wide range of commercial products, including the first color electronic paper display for brand advertising.
The colored electronic paper display can be used in various places such as commercial centers, offices, public areas, restaurants, and small businesses to showcase advertisements, menus, products, and more.
The company showcased the WAD interactive display series, which was launched earlier this year.
On the other hand, the product currently offers many AI-supported benefits.
According to the company, the WAD interactive display series can now automatically create transcripts of spoken lectures and summarize these transcripts to highlight key points based on the topic.
In addition, AI systems can analyze the teacher’s texts and screen content to create exams for students.
The product can also enhance content accuracy and prevent inappropriate content using machine learning.
Samsung collaborated with Merlyn Mind, an edtech company, to introduce voice recognition technology into the WAD interactive display series in educational environments.
According to the company, this function makes it easier for teachers to control the product and helps in designing its functions to align with the school curricula.
The WAD interactive display series from Samsung is available in three sizes: 55, 75, and 86 inches.
This device features infrared touch support with 40 simultaneous touch points, four HDMI ports, four USB-A ports, in addition to one USB-B port, one USB-C port, a 65-watt power output, and a LAN port.
