In a strategic move to bolster national expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in collaboration with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), has announced the launch of the “AI Pioneers Initiative.” This initiative aims to offer scholarships for completing a master’s degree in AI and related fields through the Professional Master’s Program (MX Program).
This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which seeks to develop national competencies in AI technologies and meet the growing demands of the labor market in this crucial sector. Admission Requirements and Application Process
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and achieve a minimum score of 6 in IELTS or 70 in TOEFL, with exceptions for KFUPM graduates or those holding a bachelor’s degree from accredited universities outside the Kingdom. Admission also requires the submission of two academic recommendation letters and a statement of purpose focusing on the applicant’s professional and research goals.
