A new campaign has been launched by the Ministry of Education in China to boost education through the use of smart technology.
The campaign focuses on four specific steps, including launching a column on “Artificial Intelligence Learning” on the smart education platform in the country, where experts discuss artificial intelligence techniques and teaching them, and establishing an international digital education exchange platform to support the Chinese approach to artificial intelligence education.
The aim of the campaign is to enhance the application of artificial intelligence in education and improve the understanding and digital teaching skills of the public, in addition to unifying ethical values in the use of artificial intelligence.
The ministry has also decided to implement a pilot program to deploy the national smart education platform in primary and secondary schools in several regions, including Guangdong, Hainan, Chitsang, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Xinjiang.
