Spotify launched the AI DJ feature in February of last year.
Originally, this feature was available only with an English voice option, but now Spotify is adding a Spanish version.
The English version of this feature is voiced by Xavier Jernigan, a Spotify employee, while the Spanish version was created by Olivia Queuez Ro, a senior manager at Spotify.
Users who have access to this feature can select their preferred voice.
Audio recordings from these two screens will be processed using artificial intelligence (AI) and then presented in the form of comments, similar to those heard on the radio.
Spotify stated, “The AI-powered DJ brings an enjoyable element to your listening experience that will keep you coming back for more.”
In addition to showcasing intriguing comments, the AI DJ feature is customized based on the user’s musical preferences.
Hence, users can listen to song recommendations until they’re finished without altering their favorite AI DJ song.
The AI DJ feature in Spanish is only available in the beta version for premium package users.
Once released to the general public, this feature will be available in several Latin American countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Colombia.
