A workshop on the future of generative artificial intelligence, its positive and ethical impacts on business, was organized today by the Dubai Business Women’s Association in collaboration with “Capgemini”, attended by several members of the association.
The event, specifically tailored for council members, was conducted by Aruna Batam, an expert in generative artificial intelligence, analytical engineering, and data sciences at “Capgemini,” a global company specializing in technology consulting and digital transformation.
The workshop focused on examining the fundamental principles of generative artificial intelligence and its applications across various key sectors, discussing the ethical laws governing it, potential ethical challenges and concerns associated with its intelligent use, and practical strategies to ensure ethical usage.
The discussion revolved around how companies and institutions can benefit from advancements in artificial intelligence, the role of women in this sector, overcoming challenges, and the necessity to enhance representation and inclusivity in this vital field, along with the future of generative artificial intelligence.
Nadine Halabi, Business Development Manager at the Dubai Business Women’s Council, emphasized the workshop’s importance in shedding light on the latest technologies and modern strategies that can be utilized to enhance the skills, knowledge, and experiences of council members, elevating their competitiveness in the business environment. She affirmed that artificial intelligence represents a significant transformation in the benefits that adopting companies will achieve, including enhancing customer experience, improving company operations, and increasing employee productivity.
Halabi highlighted the Dubai Business Women’s Council’s commitment to fully supporting women members, providing all the necessary support and services to help them develop their skills and leverage modern technologies and innovations in advancing their businesses.

The workshop discussed valuable insights on the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence during the women leadership meeting.
