The administration of education in Sabya province in Jazan region organized today the Robot and Artificial Intelligence Festival in the presence of the governor of Sabya, Dr. Sultan bin Ajmi bin Maneekhir.
The exhibition accompanying the festival showcased the experiences of participating female and male students, highlighting the challenges faced by robots and competing rounds, in addition to creative designs and research projects.
The festival includes art performances, film screenings, student speeches, and student activities, as well as honoring students, schools, and participating teams.
The Director of Education in Jazan region, Malhi bin Hassan Aqdi, emphasized the importance of the Robot and Artificial Intelligence Festival in improving learning methods, increasing the enjoyment of the educational process, and enhancing its effectiveness. It also helps in understanding scientific concepts, developing experiments and discoveries, strengthening social and collaborative skills, in addition to learning various programming skills.
The Director of Education in Sabya, Othman bin Mohammad Masmali, highlighted the strong relationship between education and robotics and artificial intelligence as a driving factor for growth and innovation, contributing to achieving sustainable development goals. He also pointed out that the Robot festival is an opportunity to showcase the creativity of students and their contributions, motivating them to represent the country in international competitions.
