The school education foundation in the Emirates is organizing over 20 events during the “Emirates Innovate 2024” month of innovation in several government schools.
Students and teachers from different regions participate in these activities, aiming to showcase their latest innovations and enhance their understanding of innovation as a sustainable approach in their various educational and pedagogical activities.
The foundation has selected several government schools in various regions of the country to organize its events during the month of innovation, starting from the 1st of February and running until the 29th of February.
The activities vary to include modern fields in agriculture, the use of artificial intelligence in education, sustainability, renewable energy, and other innovative projects.
The participating students present their projects and innovations alongside participating in dedicated workshops on innovation and its importance.
Engineer Mohammed Al Qasim, the General Manager of the Emirates School Education Foundation, emphasized that the month of innovation is a national platform that celebrates innovators and creative thinkers.
He pointed out the efforts made by the foundation in the education sector to promote innovation among students, administrative staff, and educators, in order to serve the development of the national educational system.
The foundation stated that its participation in the month of innovation embodies the wise leadership’s vision regarding the importance of innovation and the necessity to enhance it as a sustainable culture among students, as it is one of the key foundations for the future.
It added: “Through their participation in this month, students will be able to present their projects, share their creative ideas, and develop their knowledge in this vital domain.”
He also highlighted the foundation’s keenness to support national efforts in the field of innovation by preparing a generation of innovators capable of keeping pace with rapid changes in various fields.
Here is the schedule of the foundation’s events during the month of innovation (Innovation Festival) that continues throughout February, where participating students showcase their innovative and pioneering projects.
The festival started on the 1st of February in Abu Dhabi and will continue until the 6th of the same month, including Al Ain and Al Dhafra region, while it began today in Dubai and will be held in Ras Al Khaimah on the 10th of February, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain on the 17th of February, Sharjah on the 24th of February, and concludes in Fujairah on the 29th of February.
Students present their projects during the festival and discuss them with experts, and the festival includes workshops and lectures that enhance knowledge and stimulate creativity among students.
