Dr. Amr El-Laithy, President of the Union of Radio and Television Stations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, announced the establishment of an artificial intelligence department within the union.
In a statement today on Saturday, Dr. Amr El-Laithy indicated that this sector will focus on three main aspects: training, automating the union’s operations, and development and production.
He highlighted that the importance of “training” is evident in the effort to train all employees under the umbrella of the union, equip them with necessary skills to properly handle artificial intelligence technologies in content creation, and all aspects related to radio and television production.
The President of the Union of Radio and Television Stations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation mentioned that “automating the union’s operations” involves transforming all departments from traditional methods to utilizing the latest technologies, thus contributing to saving time, effort, and money.
He also noted that “development and production” may come in a later stage due to their need for budget and human resources, where the union will develop its own tools or products based on artificial intelligence.
