The Saudi Artificial Intelligence Governance Association signed agreements today with the Eastern Province Secretariat and Al-Ahsa Secretariat, in addition to a memorandum of understanding with the Governance Academy for Training, during the events of the “Leap 2024” conference at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Riyadh, under the slogan “New Horizons,” with the participation of key speakers in the field of technology, experts, and enthusiasts.
The primary memorandum of understanding signed by the association member on behalf of the association’s board chair, Dr. Shaikha Nayef Al-Otaibi, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Eastern Province for digital transformation and smart cities, Nail Ibrahim Al-Haqil, aims to enhance cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence governance, conducting scientific conferences, seminars, research, workshops, and training programs in the field of artificial intelligence and its governance.
The second memorandum of understanding, signed by the association member on behalf of the board chair Mohammed Khalfan Al-Buainain, and the Director-General of Partnerships and Corporate Social Responsibility at Al-Ahsa Secretariat, Khaled Saeed Al-Arjy, focuses on collaboration in training, scientific workshops, executing exhibitions, scientific conferences, and enhancing joint efforts in the field of artificial intelligence governance.
In the third agreement signed by the association member on behalf of the board chair Majed Ali Al-Otaibi, and the President of the Governance Training Academy Nasser Saud Al-Sahli, it includes arrangements for specialized training programs in the field of artificial intelligence and its governance.
Dr. Thabia Ahmed Al-Buainain, President of the Saudi Artificial Intelligence Governance Association, completed the agreements.
The agreements aim to strengthen partnerships to enhance artificial intelligence governance and adhere to its ethics by developing capabilities and increasing the association’s contribution to improving digital content, advancing training and qualification, supporting studies and research in the fields of artificial intelligence and its governance.
They emphasized that the participation of the Saudi Artificial Intelligence Governance Association in the “Leap 2024” conference by presenting information about the association and its goals represents a new beginning for them to achieve their goals in contributing to building and strengthening the innovative digital economy and knowledge transfer.
