The University of Al Qasimiyah has revealed the transformation of the creations of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and the founder of the university, into audio books using artificial intelligence applications. These applications allow the public to access his works in his voice through the Al Qasimiyah Podcast platform and the university’s website.
Dr. Awad Al Khalf, the director of the University of Al Qasimiyah, confirmed that His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, had viewed audio samples prepared by the university during his visit to the university’s pavilion at the Sharjah International Book Fair 2023, held at the Expo Center in Sharjah, and he expressed his personal satisfaction.
He noted that the recording and production took place in radio studios at the College of Communication at the university, where the author’s works are narrated through a lifelike audio experience, producing high-quality voice that matches the text reading, converted into the voice of His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah. He also mentioned that the project, executed by the university, will be limited to converting the publications of His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, only.
