The University of Artificial Intelligence Mohammad bin Zayed has announced the enhanced release of its executive program coinciding with the reception of the fifth group consisting of 44 officials participating in the program.
The organizational program aims, in addition to focusing on the field of artificial intelligence, to integrate and apply artificial intelligence standards across all sectors. Participants, coming from various fields such as government, energy, finance, law, transportation, logistics services, health, sports, and education, are expected to learn about proposed practical initiatives and gain insights into the policies and ethics of artificial intelligence.
The advanced program works towards building a well-rounded community knowledgeable in artificial intelligence to support and enhance state institutions and activate the digital transformation process.
The training courses of the executive program have a direct impact and last for 16 weeks, with the program divided into four stages and seven educational subjects. The new stages include studying artificial intelligence and changing the current framework, principles of artificial intelligence, transformations in AI-enhanced sectors, as well as developing policies, strategies, and ethics of artificial intelligence.
Professor Eric Zing, who heads the University of Artificial Intelligence Mohammad bin Zayed and serves as a university professor, stated that the enhanced version of the executive program is in precise alignment with the evolving market needs seeking artificial intelligence skills and solutions at various levels for entities operating in the public and private sectors. Given the rapid advancement in the field of artificial intelligence, the revised curriculum focuses on critical elements in AI development, including aspects related to legislation, ethics, and strategy development.
It has been shown that the updated educational materials in the executive program reflect the urgent need for organizations to adopt a comprehensive approach towards artificial intelligence. This includes understanding the context in which AI is applied, its impact, AI-driven innovations, as well as strengthening the specific goals of the national AI strategic plan set by the United Arab Emirates.
It was noted that individuals who complete the executive program are keen to share their achievements by applying what they have learned in the field of AI for the benefit of their organizations, showcasing the efficiency gained from the program which contributed to enhancing development and making a positive impact on the country’s economy. This serves as a distinguished evidence of the capabilities of the University of Artificial Intelligence Mohammad bin Zayed and its ability to establish AI as a foundation to achieve the state’s vision.
Participants in the executive program work alongside seasoned experts from the University of Artificial Intelligence Mohammad bin Zayed as well as prominent figures from top global experts in this sector, including Professor Michael Jordan from the University of California, Berkeley; Professor Justine Cassell from Carnegie Mellon University; Professor Karl Ulrich from the Wharton School of Business; and Dr. Zodang Huang from Zoom.
At the end of the program, participants will develop various graduation projects in which they apply AI techniques to innovate solutions for national problems or those they face in their various sectors. This is done with the aim of making a positive and realistic impact on society, including various fields such as healthcare, education, and sustainability.
Women make up 43% of the fifth cohort participants, and the program provides an opportunity for all participants to take part in an international discovery journey to learn about the leading practical models in the industries of AI.

Moreover, it enables the opportunity to benefit from the best methods and experiences in various sectors.It is worth mentioning that more than one hundred and sixty executives, managers, and public secretaries have completed their studies in the Executive Program at Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence. They shared the knowledge they gained with their colleagues in their respective positions in the country. These graduates have joined from various sectors such as government administrative bodies, industrial institutions, startups, small and medium enterprises, as well as non-profit organizations, forming a diverse community of experienced and skilled graduates.
