The Trends Research and Consultancy Center presented a diverse range of activities during its participation in the thirty-third edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, including seminars, lectures, panel discussions, launching new releases, visits, and signing cooperation agreements over seven days.
On the final day, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, the President of the Federal National Council, visited the center’s booth, familiarized himself with the research conducted, and praised the use of “Trends” artificial intelligence technology in their research work.
Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Saif Al Nahyan and Dr. Ali bin Tameem, President of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, the organizing body of the fair, visited. They commended the strong presence of “Trends” at the fair, emphasizing the cultural and research contributions that “Trends” annually presents at the exhibition.
On the final day of the fair, Trends Center participated in a panel discussion titled “Preserving the Cultural Thought of Emirati Youth,” organized by the Esteem Cultural Salon.
Dr. Mohammed Ali, the CEO of “Trends,” emphasized the importance of culture in shaping social awareness and the role of cultural sustainability in preserving the historical, cultural, and identity heritage of societies during his participation in the Esteem Cultural Salon session. He pointed out that the UAE places a great emphasis on the concept of sustainability in its various aspects, including cultural sustainability, which has become an essential pillar for sustainable development strategies.
Mentioned were the efforts made by Trends Center in creating a sustainable cultural environment and providing suitable conditions to support talents and develop cultural and creative industries. He mentioned the establishment of a Youth Scientific Research Council within “Trends,” comprising youth interested in culture and knowledge, who seek to enhance them among their peers.
The center’s booth was visited by several prominent figures, including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. The AI-enhanced booth attracted significant interest from visitors who appreciated the efforts made, praised the abundance of its output, and the diversity and inclusivity of its subjects.
Throughout a full week, Trends Center organized a program full of activities that attracted the interest of exhibition visitors, offering a wide range of research knowledge that was well received and appreciated by the audience, in addition to showcasing various titles of its research publications through its dedicated booth.
Five new books were launched at the fair by Trends, including a book discussing global trends in artificial intelligence and the twelfth book in the Muslim Brotherhood Encyclopedia. A panel discussion was also held, attended by a diverse group of intellectuals, researchers, and exhibition enthusiasts.
During its participation in the Abu Dhabi Book Fair, “Trends” signed several cooperation agreements with a range of institutions and organizations, aiming to enhance communication, coordination, and disseminate balanced knowledge based on documented scientific research.
