Samsung Gulf Electronics Company, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Young Entrepreneurs Club, announced the graduation of 64 students in the first edition of the Samsung Innovation Program in Qatar. The students completed a three-month educational course on artificial intelligence and machine learning and received program completion certificates at a grand ceremony held in Doha.
The educational workshop, titled “Together for the Future.. Empowering Talented Youth,” provided a unique opportunity for students with a good knowledge in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to enhance their understanding in machine learning, acquire new skills, and gain experience in artificial intelligence and related applications.
On this occasion, Mr. Dohi Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics Company, congratulated the students who participated in this educational course and exerted great efforts to reach this stage. He indicated that they now possess the necessary skills and confidence to achieve success in their professional lives. The students demonstrated their talents and potential in mastering the principles of artificial intelligence, which are essential for building and enhancing Qatar’s digital economy. He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Young Entrepreneurs Club for their collaboration and vision in launching this program in Qatar. Samsung company reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a culture of science and innovation among the youth of the current generation, emphasizing its continued investment in the education and empowerment of youth in Qatar and the region.
Ibrahim Khalid Al-Sulaiti, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, stated that celebrating the successful graduation of students from the “Samsung Innovation Program” in Qatar is a significant milestone in their collaboration with Samsung. He added that this initiative reflects their commitment to supporting innovation and providing necessary skills in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning for youth. He mentioned that they are working together to enable the next generations to acquire these modern skills and drive technological progress towards a thriving future.
